Reading the yearly average…
The Archive
Everything shot, kept, and indexed. 拍过的、留下的、进了索引的。
Reading clips against hours…
Reading the transcript boundary…
Coverage
How far each pass has actually reached into the pile.
The denominator is every clip in the index.
The transcript bar stops at 77%. A sample of what's left is being
measured now — early readings say most of it is footage with no usable speech
(room tone, traffic, music under b-roll) rather than a backlog of failures.
That number lands here once it holds up across projects and years, and not before.
Clips per year
Hours per year
Same years, a different question. 2021 has few clips and many hours — long takes. 2025 inverts it: four times the clips, forty-second average. The turn from film to feed, visible in the count.
Average clip, by year
The same archive, asked a third way. Nothing here was decided — it's just what the files add up to. Years with fewer than 200 clips are thin ground and marked as such.
How long a clip runs
Month by month
The last eighteen months at the rate they actually landed. A short bar is a quiet month, not a missing one — gaps here are real.
