Fan-out research across every major executive branding agency globally: SimplyBe, Klowt, Kurogo, Ohh My Brand, Prestidge, Moris Media, OctoPlus. Not one offers executive brand strategy + professional video + dual-platform (LinkedIn + WeChat Channels) for Chinese diaspora SMEs. That triple is the moat. Sell-without-selling validated by data: Ahrefs $149M ARR, zero sales team, 100% inbound. KAWO 2025 confirms CEO-influencer surge on WeChat Channels and Xiaohongshu. Pricing sweet spot: $2,500–$6,000/month — below that clients don't engage seriously; above, competing with PR agencies for enterprise.

Studied Aristide Benoist inside out and found its silk is a WebGL render loop with lerp interpolation. Rather than rebuild in WebGL — heavy, breaks accessibility — took the ideas and executed them light: an INFO / ABOUT open-close overlay on every page, magnetic navigation, monumental titles that reveal as you arrive, a gentle hero parallax. The master's moves, made accessible, made ours.

Aristide's scroll has no native scrollbar; it's a GPU loop smoothing every frame. The accessible DOM equivalent is lerp-based momentum scroll (Lenis). Added it to every long content page — buttery inertia, but keyboard, find-in-page and anchors all still work; off for reduced-motion and touch.

Two fixes that separate 'looks the part' from 'feels right'. The homepage expand now FLIP-morphs: the card grows from the exact rect of the unit you clicked — one continuous element, not a pop. And every page-to-page runs one controlled espresso dissolve (fade to warm-black → navigate → fade in), so dark↔light never flashes.

The homepage UNITs now open the way /work's film spines do: click one and it expands to a spec card with Aristide-style A/B/C/D credits and an ENTER that dissolves into the room. Home and work now share an interaction language, not just a look.

Cinematic isn't 'dark' — it's grade, type, composition, the cut. Built a shared system: a warm-espresso grade (never dead black), a film-gate matte on every page, and one cross-page dissolve. The bright reading pages and the dark gallery became two exposures of one graded film.

Studied the original inside out and learned the actual structure: it is one page in two states. Default is a row of book/CD spines showing only the cover-sliver; click one and the neighbours part into thin ribs on both sides while the chosen film expands to the centred feature; then you scroll down into the project. Rebuilt /work exactly that way: eleven film spines with vertical names, click-to-part-and-expand (pure CSS width transitions, so the old clamp/snap scroll bug is gone entirely), a staggered feature reveal, cursor-parallax on the open still, horizontal swipe to move rib-to-rib while open, and a scroll-down project page (monumental title, big player, description, credits).
Studied aristidebenoist.com inside out: no native scroll (it hijacks the wheel into a translateX on the reel strip), grayscale project slats that brighten on hover, a variable condensed display (Super Sans) paired with Inter, a tally-mark scroll counter, and click→full-bleed project route. Rebuilt /work with that soul but kept it functional: loaded Anton (monumental condensed) + Inter, went dark, the eleven films are thin grayscale slats; hovering one brightens it and throws a giant Anton title into the empty space with a line-mask reveal, the tally marks track the focused film; clicking unfolds — the slat expands from its own rect to fill the screen, then the film plays. Accessible on purpose (keyboard, focus, reduced-motion, touch fallback) — Aristide's look, not his broken scroll-jack.

The site is now a togglable object, per Aristide's versioning-as-identity made literal. A small control (bottom-left) cycles three coherent editions that persist as you browse: 01 Paper — the light editorial cut (Archivo, current); 02 Dark — the Aristide cut, warm near-black with a monospace display voice; 03 Reel — near-black cinema with thin display type, and on /work the cursor-following preview comes alive as a muted, looping frame of the film. All driven by one <html data-ed> attribute overriding each page's own tokens — palette and typography both flip site-wide from two shared files. Not a theme switch: three finished versions of one site.

Went through every one of the eleven @MrGlvte films, read what each actually is, and gave them clean portfolio names + categories instead of raw sequence/upload titles (赵莉 · Portrait; Cold Brew · 茉莉白茶 · Brand Film; 长青医美 · Evergreen · Commercial; Azalea · 金达莱 · Food; and so on). Cataloged all eleven into the Studio OS library under a new DM-FILMS · Films — Portfolio project — each with its YouTube link + descriptive tags, so they're searchable ("tea" finds the two Infashion pieces). The /work gallery now shows those curated titles + a category line under each, re-sequenced brand/commercial work first. One array = one edit to reorder or rename.

Rebuilt /work around the references logged in the design study — Garden Eight (calm, curated, full-bleed, no card grid) and Cekai (the reel energy is the navigation). Eleven real films from @MrGlvte as a numbered editorial index in big display type; as you scan the titles a single cinematic preview floats and lerps to follow your cursor (the awarded-portfolio signature move). Click any line → clean full-screen player. Titles are pulled live from YouTube (no hardcoding). Fully accessible: on touch / reduced-motion the floating preview is replaced by inline stills, keyboard-navigable, focus states intact. Order = the array order — reorder in one line.

Built the portfolio, picky and unique. New /work page pulls five real films straight from the @MrGlvte channel and presents them as an editorial film programme — big numbered entries (01–05) in the same masthead + numbered language as the console, so the whole studio speaks one visual identity. Each row reveals a cinematic still on hover and opens a clean full-screen player on click (privacy-friendly youtube-nocookie, keyboard + Esc). Real handles wired: YouTube @MrGlvte, Instagram @mr.glvte, email. Added Work to the top nav across the site. Films are editable in one array — reorder or add IDs as the reel grows.

Two asks. (1) Stripped the paid image generation out of Previs — it's now a pure, free shot-storyboard tool (DP-ready visual breakdown from one line of description), no billing, no top-up, no nag. The image path stays dormant for later if ever wanted. (2) Added a discreet entrance to the console: a faint dot in the site footer, next to the version, linking to /studio — invisible to visitors, one click for you (and login-gated regardless). Bookmark dmlogic.ca/studio too.

Next learn+iterate round. The library search was exact-keyword only; now when an exact search returns nothing, it quietly asks the free Planner for related film terms and retries once — so 'dusk' finds your 'golden hour' clips, 'car' finds 'vehicle / sedan'. Results show a small note of what it broadened to. It's semantic-ish recall without paying for a vector database — fast when exact matches exist, smart when they don't. Fully on the free Gemini key. (Paired with: teeing up paid image-gen so Previs renders real frames — a billing toggle on your Gemini project, no code change needed.)

Audited all 9 live pages + the console (every route 200, h1s + titles intact, no breakage) then shipped five improvements from the findings: (1) Previs now always returns a text storyboard from the free Planner and auto-adds a generated still only when the key has image quota — so it's useful today instead of erroring on the free tier; (2) its panel renders storyboard + image + a clear note when images aren't available; (3) a 🛡 compliance shield shows on any project with consent/age/no-deepfake on file; (4) the masthead HUD now flags 'N awaiting review' in accent so nothing stalls unseen; (5) mobile polish — the section tabs scroll horizontally, big title scales down, search results reflow to two columns. Snapshot + log kept per the discipline.

Three generative moves, built from the 2026 frontier scan. (1) Previs — type a shot and the Gemini image model renders a cinematic concept still, right in a new 03 Make section; pre-production gets visualized before a camera moves. (2) Clipper — paste a long cut's transcript and the Planner returns ranked vertical short-form ideas with hooks + captions; one shoot becomes a stack of posts. (3) Compliance vault — a private per-project record: consent-doc link, 18+/ID-verified, no real-person deepfake, notes. Protects the people in front of the camera. Note: no AI-output labeling — the AI is a tool here, not a stamp. Console now has five sections (Library · Office · Make · Projects · Clients), keys 1–5.

Made the system runnable, not just capable. Every project is now a cockpit: click it and you get a stage stepper (intake→shooting→sorting→post→review→approved→delivered) with one-click Advance, its cataloged clips (with the Baidu links), and its client review links — one screen per job. Plus the first real AI auto-process: when cataloging a clip, hit ✨ AI tags and the free Planner writes the search tags from your label (and any transcript) — so the library gets smart with zero typing. Shipped a plain SOP (docs/DM-LOGIC-SOP.md): build → prep → shoot → catalog → assign → review → approve → deliver, seven Advances and a job is done. Masters keep living on Baidu.

Two big moves. (1) Redesigned the console: dropped the endless stacked-panel scroll for a magazine masthead + numbered section tabs (01 Library · 02 Office · 03 Projects · 04 Clients) you switch with 1–4 or click; press / to jump to search. Editorial type, HUD status line, game-style keyboard nav. Navigable, not a wall of forms. (2) Reworked the footage library for reality: masters can't live in the cloud (they move Canada→China via netdisk), so the library is now a searchable INDEX — catalog a clip by reference (label + share link + 提取码 + location + tags), optionally drop an audio track for Whisper transcription, and search across labels/tags/spoken-words. Search returns the clip and a direct link to wherever the master actually lives. Master never uploaded.

The engine's core, first slice. R2 now holds masters; on upload, Workers AI Whisper transcribes the clip and the words become searchable. From the console: drop a file into a project (auto-transcribed on the way in), then search the whole library in plain language — filenames + everything said in every clip, with a snippet around the hit, role-scoped. This is the 2026 killer feature (semantic footage search becomes essential past ~50 hrs of material) built native on the Cloudflare stack. Next layer: visual tags + true vector search via Vectorize, and Stream proxies for playback.

Built the piece clients actually see (2026 research: branded portals beat generic dashboards, watermarking protects masters). From the console you create a private review link per deliverable — pick a project, title it, paste a preview URL. The client opens /review?token=… : your paper/ink look, the preview under a diagonal DM-LOGIC watermark, and Approve / Request-changes + comment. No login, no browsing, one token = one deliverable. Approval flips the project to 'approved' and everything is audited. Security hygiene too: .git/.wrangler/studio-agents.js pulled out of the public asset bundle.

Renovation, grounded in 2026 research (orchestration layer is the winning move for a 2-person shop). Made /studio interactive: an Ask-an-agent panel — pick Planner/Coder/Designer/Writer, paste a brief, get real work back (shot lists, call sheets, copy) from the free Gemini agents. Plus one-click project creation. The board stopped being decorative status dots; the engine now visibly does jobs. Next up per the blueprint: the branded client review portal, then the searchable footage library.

Built the multi-model agent router: each agent is a role bound to the right model — Coder/Designer/Writer on Claude (your key), Planner on free Gemini, and a gated adult-content agent routed to an uncensored provider via OpenRouter. All keys are Worker secrets, never in the repo, never sent to the client; the adult agent is 403 for non-staff. Wrote the full security model (SECURITY.md): console behind Cloudflare Access, clients see signed expiring keyholes not the building, masters never leave R2 (clients watch watermarked Stream proxies), every action audited, 3-2-1 backup with the Dell XPS as the offline vault. Verified as the research-backed DM Logic engine blueprint. Provisioning (keys + Access) is the one thing only Jack can do; everything else is built.

Researched the best-practice process for an automated, controlled, AI-integrated studio pipeline (Iconik/Frame.io/ShotGrid + Cloudflare docs, verified 2026) and built the spine: a D1 data model (projects/assets/reviews/agents/staff + a strict audit log with CHECK-constrained state machine), a Worker API with real role-based access (admin/staff/post/client each see different things), and the /studio console (demo-mode until provisioned). Plus the single biggest fix for the deploy struggle: a wrangler-action CI pipeline that kills the GitHub Pages deadlock with one-command rollback. Blueprint in STUDIO-OS-PROCESS.md.

Full live audit — per project, function, flow, mobile, UX. Verdict: both properties healthy, zero broken links, quiz→result→collection works in mock mode, all 35 cards live. Fixed the two real findings: safe-area-inset padding on chat + grab (so the input row clears the phone's home indicator), and a noscript room-list on the home shelf (the shelf is JS-drawn, so no-JS visitors and crawlers now still get every link). One flagged 'bug' turned out to be the slot-machine mechanic working as designed.

Same standard, other rooms. The Office's "Agents online" badge was decorative — it now pings the real /api/chat backend and says what's actually true: the live agent count, or "Agents resting" when no key is up. A truthful status line, not a costume (design-study move #2). The Lever Gazette's sister reference to Grab became a real link. Small, honest, on-brand.

Coexist's rare results and unlocked hidden cards now tilt under the pointer with a paper-toned foil sheen — the holo technique rebuilt from scratch in one dependency-free module (the well-known implementation is GPL; not a line copied). Reduced-motion gets nothing, touch gets a quiet fixed sheen, and the PNG export freezes the tilt so shares never skew. Underneath: a pity ramp — from the third finished run the deck starts owing you a hidden card, guaranteed by the seventh, drawn only from a safe pool. The earned-only cards (META, the blind five, the sensitive one) stay earned-only.

Three patterns lifted from the best open-source multi-model chat work and rebuilt in ~120 lines of vanilla JS: @mention routing (address one agent inside a group meeting), a Fuse step (one agent reads the whole round and synthesizes it — big-AGI's Beam pattern), and a blind round (answers come back unsigned; guess who said what, then reveal — Chatbot Arena's trick). Also this pass: every displayed slogan came off the site. The work speaks or it doesn't.
